New Havest Vegetarian EPA, 05/25/2010
I've tried fish oil supplements in the past and have never been able to keep taking them because of the smell and aftertaste. I know how important it is to get omega-3, but since I'm not a fish eater, I had to rely on supplements. I received a sample of New Harvest Vegetarian EPA from bzzagent and was so happy with the results (no smell or aftertaste) that I came to this site to purchase more. Great product!!

I tried these pills as part of a BzzAgent campaign. As a BzzAgent I receive samples and/or discounts to try certain products and then spread the word about them! In this case I received a seven day sample . I am not a vegetarian but prefer to have an non-animal based oil to include in my daily diet. I do WeightWatchers so I need to take a healthy oil twice a day. Technically its's supposed to be an actual oil (olive, canola etc..) but nutritionwise I think that these pills do the trick. For me the Pros were: oil comes out to be the same WW pts as a tsp of olive or canola oil, no under-pleasant taste, can take every day at same time so i don't forget to get my oil in! And of course, its heart friendly! Cons: cost (I can take liquid oil for less $), size (these pills are big!),. The only other drawback is that if I take my oil in pill form I l+lost" my oil allowance so I can't use it to fry food or put on a salad. I will but a bottle so I can use when I don't get my oil in from "cooking". Overall, a great product and beats fish pills every time!

These are great essential vitamins for the omega 3 daily recommendation. I take a supplement every day that usually gives me the fish burps and this version is vegetarian, so there is no fishy burp or aftertaste. Great alternative!

Tried Sample pills are a little big. No fishy smell. Good way to get your omega-3 if you are vegetarian.
